KUPID System

Korea University is building an informative high-tech campus through the reengineering such as education/research, administration, information technology, organization/institution etc. across the university to enhance the operational efficiency of the university and maximize effectiveness of education and provide high quality information service by actively utilizing information technology of rapidly changing modern society. To do so, we primarily designed mid and long-term development direction by working out "Master Plan for the realization of IC21(Intelligent Campus21)"and as the first phase business based on this, we reached development of "Knowledge-based portal system"




Personalized Portal Service


We manage contents and utilize information by user by setting an individual personalized page in order for them to get necessary contents and information service depending on the user’s interest among numerous contents such as announcements, research information, student events, community, new knowledge etc.

 

Pavilion of Information Service


Pavilion of information service is the integrated service space in the university to provide quick and transparent convenient service to students, teachers and staff of Korea University. You can use services such as school enrollment matters, credit inquiry, class information, class registration, certificate application, enrollment/scholarship, opinion survey, no returning books identification, searching staff, IP/domain application (return), department system, major assignments etc.

 

Personal Information Management Service


Personal Information Management Service provides an archive of 50M capacity, personal address book, schedule planning and a memo function.

 

Community Service


This service is provided for students to organize communities of clubs, discussion spaces and learning spaces and act in them.

 

Groupware Service


Document search and utilization, management and reference can be smooth using Electronic payment system and Electronic document management system (EDMS) and personalized information transmission is possible only to user groups which need information about clubs, online communities, departments, university, administrative departments etc. Additional services such as students events, Let’s praise, Lost and Found, flea market, public opinion square, HelpDesk etc. are provided as well.

 

Knowledge Management Service


Knowledge management service provides knowledge share base in the organization by allowing them to register or read the classified documents based on K-MAP, which classified campus knowledge classification system into lecture/research, administration, experts.
